(Or at least the one's that Ghostella presents, lol). Have never appreciated horror movies, very much, but now I've become curious in a good way, and that have very much indeed inspirered my writing.. :D thank you!!! :)

/Rachel TombAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-56105731632650371802008-06-03T09:54:00.000-04:002008-06-03T09:54:00.000-04:00i've never seen danger diabolik but damn those pos...i've never seen danger diabolik but damn those posters are gorgeous!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09979914565647698188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-79346249512222188162008-06-02T10:35:00.000-04:002008-06-02T10:35:00.000-04:00Loved "Danger: Diabolik" even if the only time I w...Loved "Danger: Diabolik" even if the only time I watched was on MST3K.

And it was a pretty fun inspiration for the Beastie Boys video "Body Movin'".

But, I will admit that the passing of its star, John Phillip Law, this week has left me sad. Not only for the often commented influence on 'Friday the 13th', but also for its almost experimental nature. That's why I like the AKA (one of its many) of 'Reazione a Catena' (Chain reaction), because it's almost meta-linguistical.

That said, my favourite Bava movie is 'Black Sabbath'. While watching people line up to see the film, Osbourne noted that it was "strange that people spend so much money to see scary movies".[8] Butler wrote a song titled "Black Sabbath" after reading a book by occult writer Dennis Wheatley, and seeing a black-hooded figure standing at the foot of his bed.[9] Making use of the musical tritone, also known as "The Devil's Interval", the song's ominous sound and dark lyrics pushed the band in a darker direction, a stark contrast to the popular music of the late 1960s, which was dominated by flower power, folk music, and hippie culture. Inspired by the new sound, the band changed their name to Black Sabbath in August 1969, and made the decision to focus writing similar material, in an attempt to create the musical equivalent of horror films.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-69285355826889898742008-05-30T15:13:00.000-04:002008-05-30T15:13:00.000-04:00"What" is the greatest movie title of the world."What" is the greatest movie title of the world.Clay McClanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03335679984438046905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13599870.post-77047005029503517552008-05-30T15:03:00.000-04:002008-05-30T15:03:00.000-04:00Yes!
