The Arachnid and Dagon posters are excellent. I also like the Tombs of the Blind Dead poster. This may also be a contender for the 50th film club entry? It has slo-mo zombie horseback riders! [although only as a runner up to the earlier recommended Santa Sangre..]

I've probably read your Initiation review a half-dozen times since you wrote it, Stacie, and I also share your joy in the fact that Joy left such a great comment.

I watched the movie last night and DZ's performance as an evil twin was actually pretty unsettling, as was the location for the mall.

My only question is: who the hell was fiddling with the lights? Even if it was both the father and the twin working in tandem, they'd need some major co-ordination to time it that perfectly. We're talking two-way radios, spotters, detailed breaker diagrams, keys to the fuse-boxes at the mall and the college, secret signals like "tippy-toe", etc...

I was pleasantly surprised with "The Shrine". The statue sequence was deliciously creepy and the moment when everything began to gell (the farmer's wife in hysterics) I began to realize that there was something more going on than I realized. Thanks for the recommendation Stacie!

As for Film Club, I'd like to throw 'ClownHouse' into the ring if I may, not quite as 'hardcore' as some of the previous suggestions, but not a total cheesefest either (though they do make for my favourite of your reviews.)
